Quotes
“Marianne Badrichani’s productions (…) trade a delicate line between testing relationships and inventing new ones, between illusions and delusion. Unusual and fanciful.” (The Daily Mail)
“Edith Vernes and Chris Campbell both give solid performances. Their comic timing is excellent.” (BritishTheatre.com)
" Sometimes we really shouldn’t be laughing but we just can’t help it” (Edouard Nacar for Watch plays and stuff)
“The play captures emerging violence and negative tension in a hysterically comic way, making the spectators laugh from the very first until the last scene"
(Natalia Domagala for LDNCARD.COM)
"It’s an intriguing look into the most private and personal, and yet relatable, event in any person’s life and the masterful way in which it’s performed makes it wholly unique.”
(Natasha Furlong, The Upcoming)
"I found it a witty comedy, handled in a distinctly French manner - perhaps due to the sophisticated staging (the additional textures of the song choices which played off the script with irony, the fragmented film sections which drew attention to perspective and voyeurism). The comedy seemed to have an Absurdist edge, hinting at deeper existential anxieties about how little binds humans together in the longterm despite social expectations around marriage and family." James Hadley
